With whom do we share

We may share information as explained below, however, we will never sell it to advertisers or other third parties.

Others working for Puente: Puente uses certain trusted third parties (for example, providers of IT services) to help us provide, improve, protect and promote our Services. These third parties will access your information only to perform tasks on our behalf in compliance with this Privacy Policy. We use Stripe, DonorBox, Square and PayPal to process credit cards, all of whom being our PCI-DSS compliant payment processing partners.

Analytics: We use analytic partners, including MailChimp to analyze some of the marketing information we collect. If you do not consent to our analytics partners having access to your information (email address), please let us know at info@puente-dr.com

Legal Compliance and Protection: We may disclose your information to third parties if we determine that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to (i) comply with the law; (ii) protect any person from death or serious bodily injury; (iii) prevent fraud or abuse of Puente or our users, or (iv) protect Puente’s property rights.

How do we protect your information

Puente is dedicated to keeping your information secure and testing for vulnerabilities. To prevent unauthorized access, maintain accuracy, and ensure proper use of information, we have employed physical, technical, and administrative processes to safeguard and secure the information we collect.

Note: No method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, the security of you information also depends on how you use the Services and protect your login credentials.

Your personal information will be retained by Puente for the duration of your account and may be retained for a period after this time as necessary and relevant to our legitimate interests, our terms of agreement with you and in accordance with applicable legal obligations. This may include retention necessary to meet our tax reporting requirements as well as time required to enforce the relevant terms of agreement or to identify, issue or resolve legal proceedings. We may retain a record of your stated objection to the processing of your data, including in respect of an objection to receiving marketing communications, for the sole legitimate purpose of ensuring that we can continue to respect your wishes and not contract you further, during the term of your objection.

Where we store your information

To provide you with the Services, we may store, process and transmit information to the United States and other locations around the world–including those outside of your country. Information may also be stored locally on devices you use to access the Services.  

Changes

If we are involved in a reorganization or merger, your information may be transferred as part of that deal. We will notify you of any such deal and outline your choices.
